Chasing problem
Now let's look at the following problem.
A fox sees a hare and runs towards him. The poor frightened hare try to escape the fox's teeth, but he is so silly, this poor hare! Somehow he decides, that it would be better for him, if the direction of his escape is perpendicular to the line, connecting him and the fox. If you model this situation in LOGO, you'll get the following pictures, depanding on the distance, fox's (vfox) and hare's (vhare) velocities:
distance=150
vfox=0.5 vhare=1.0distance=100
vfox=0.2 vhare=1.0distance=150
vfox=0.75 vhare=1.0The trajectories are spirals, aren't they?
